Medica Names Alicia Reuter as Chief Legal Officer
MINNETONKA, MN, June 24, 2024 – Medica today announced that Alicia Reuter joins the organization as Senior Vice President, Chief Legal Officer.In this role, Alicia will provide strategic direction and oversight for legal, compliance, privacy, regulatory affairs, public policy, risk management, community engagement, and the Medica Foundation.

Alicia brings more than 25 years of experience in the legal and healthcare industry, including more than 15 years with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota in progressive roles, most recently as Vice President, Legal, General Counsel and Assistant Secretary. She began her career with Piper Sandler in investment banking and equity research. She also spent time with Split Rock Partners, SuperValu, and law firm Nilan Johnson Lewis PA.
Alicia holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Economics, from Macalester College, and she earned her Juris Doctor with honors from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. She serves on the board of Academy of Holy Angels.
