Medica Names Krista Dusil as Chief Financial Officer

MINNETONKA, MINN – Medica today announced that Krista Dusil joins the organization as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

In her role at Medica, Krista is responsible for fiscal stewardship across the organization, with oversight for all accounting and financial management and reporting functions. She also plays a pivotal role in advising on Medica’s strategic plans and developing pricing for products and services.

Krista comes to Medica from NMDP^SM, an international cell therapy organization, where she served as their CFO. Before that, Krista served as CFO for Sanvello, a digital behavioral health start-up. After starting her career in audit with Arthur Andersen, LLP, Krista had several key leadership roles in finance, product, international, and operations at UnitedHealth Group. She also served as principal and CFO for UnitedHealth Group Ventures, founding health care start-up businesses committed to driving disruptive, systemic change in areas such as diabetes, orthopedics, and kidney disease.

Krista holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of St. Thomas. She serves on the board and chairs the Finance Committee of the Minneapolis Downtown Council. She was named a 2022 Notable CFO by Twin Cities Business Magazine.
