Get the care and support you need with Medica MinnesotaCare. This program is for people with low income who need financial assistance to help pay for health insurance. You qualify for MinnesotaCare based on income and household size. MinnesotaCare members pay a monthly premium and copays based on income.

Medica MinnesotaCare gives you all the support of MinnesotaCare with extra benefits such as a $0 gym membership.

Ready to enroll?

Apply through MNsure. Once you qualify, the Minnesota Department of Human Services will send you a letter with a form. Tell them you want Medica by filling out the form or calling the phone number provided in the letter.

$0 fitness program with gym membership

Members 18 and older are eligible for our fitness program through One Pass™ for a $0 annual fee.
Includes:

  • Gym membership at 16,000+ locations nationwide with access to exercise equipment, group exercise
    classes and other gym amenities
  • More than 20,000 on-demand and live-streaming fitness classes

Grocery discount

Save each week on healthy foods at participating grocery stores through our Healthy Savings program. It works in addition to other coupons. Just buy the promoted products and scan the barcode from the card or app when you check out at participating stores.

Dental care

Keep smiling with preventive and comprehensive dental care. Our Provide-A-Dentist Program can also help you find a dentist, and make an appointment. Dentists are part of the large Minnesota Select Dental network through Delta Dental®.

Healthy pregnancy program

Ovia Health™ apps offer health, fertlity, pregnancy and parenting support for women 18-46. You also get 1:1 coaching and guidance.

8 a.m. – 6 p.m. CT, Monday – Friday

American Indians can continue or begin to use tribal and Indian Health Services (IHS) clinics. We will not require prior approval or impose any conditions for you to get
services at these clinics. For elders age 65 years and older this includes Elderly Waiver (EW) services accessed through the tribe. If a doctor or other provider in a tribal or IHS
clinic refers you to a provider in our network, you don't need to see your primary care provider prior to the referral.
